Dear Members,

We had a fine success at the Honolulu Elks last night as you can see on hand of the attached photographs! The service and food quality were 1st class ! And the fireworks, though 15 minutes earlier than announced by me were spectacular.

We brought a toast to Austria and the USA and a moment of silence in honor of Hans Strasser our founding member back in October of 1977. If you look at the pictures carefully you will notice several Hans Strasser Trachten jackets.

We also welcomed new members to our association, the Family Gazov who lived in Linz for some time and speak excellent German!

Please take note of our impending Christmas in Austria reservation at the Honolulu Elks on Friday, Dec. 5th 2025 ! The official invitation is forthcoming.

Our special thanks go to Hannelore Herrmann who in the absence of our treasurers Roswitha Kropf and Brigitte Visser did a wonderful job of holding the strings of this celebration together. She was assisted by Renate Rivera.

Dear members and friends,

This year started with a number of uncertainties and now we are in a full blown, never before experienced home isolation on account of an also never before experienced epidemic.

We hope that you and your families are well and that you cope with the confinement.  Our hearts go out to you and we hope that we will meet again soon in good health and spirits !

We do not have any conclusive message about our friend Guido who's treatment and further medical exams are stopped in their tracks on account of the priority given by hospitals to the treatment of the Corona Virus. As soon as we have an update in this regard we will let you know.

Please note that this year's Weltbund conference in Vienna is set for August 27. - 30. Those of you who intend to attend should contact us by e-mail in order that we make sure to have your WB Vorteilscard ordered and that we may send you the application forms.
