Purpose
The mission of the AAH is to promote the understanding between Austria and Hawai′i. This can be done in many ways. At culinary and cultural events, members and friends get together and enjoy Austrian signature dishes prepared with mostly local ingredients. While authenticity is priority, this can lead to sometimes very interesting and delicious new flavors.
You do not need to be an Austrian citizen nor speak German in order to join the association. We have the honor of many different nationalities being members. If you want to know more about the Austrian culture, or are just interested in getting useful information and chatting with longtime residents, come and join us for an event!
